I be diagnosed near HPV when I be 17 years aged. The VERY first pap smear I ever have come vertebrae uncharacteristic and I be told I have precancerous cell on my cervix. I'm sure I have the virus for a while and only never realize it.
My precancerous cell turned into cervical cancer, but because the doctors have caught it so precipitate I one and only have to enjoy part of a set of my cervix removed and didn't hold to budge through chemotherapy or hold a hysterectomy (thank god).
About 5 years following I developed genital wart, treated them, and haven't have a problem since.
There is NO "cure" for HPV because it is a virus, however, most women are competent to bring back rid of the virus on their own. Their bodies can primarily "spar it off" and win rid of it.
