My sister is at her 37th week with her pregnancy. A couple of days ago, she started developing blisters and cold sores within and around her mouth. Her throat has be hurting her and she has be with a restlessness. Her doctor gave her a special mouthwash and something to numb the agony. She says her mouth hurts even more. Her doctor say that it is a viral infection. Could it be something more?
Answers: I had the blisters/cold sores almost a month ago and it is a viral infection. The Dr. gave me some pills that took a few days or so to clear up. She needs to save using the mouthwash and the stuff for numbing the pain. It will get hold of better, give it some time.
There is no bearing for any one here to know for sure. If she is uncomfortable near the diagnoses she needs to see another doctor. She is within the safe zone beside her baby as far as conferral so that is not a big concern.
