when I blink it hurts a tiny bit, but when i rub it, it hurts more.this feel resembling its on the exterior of my eyelid, to some extent than the interior

Its probably merely a sty. Those are resembling pimples you acquire contained by your eyes. Yes they are a throbbing, but they be in motion away soon. You can speed up the process of that by putting a melt teabag on your eye, it will sting a bit but it will grain better sooner.
