HIV Positive housekeeper, does she pose a risk to children contained by household?

Our housekeeper of plentiful years have be tested HIV positive after have lost plentifully of cargo and outlook below par. She is on antiretroviral medication very soon, have picked up solidity and is reaction fine. There are 3 children in the household, age 5,10 and 12. Do you dream up she poses a risk to them and if yes, how exactly could she be a risk to them?

Answers:
Please don't verbs as she poses virtually no risk. I am HIV+ and know profusely going on for this.
1= influence for example she cuts her finger on a wound once the virus is airborne it dies inwardly 5Min's.

2=As she is taking antivirals the risks are even lower

3=HIV is exceptionally difficult to ensnare e.g if she cut herself and you help patch her up as long as you hold no enlarge wounds or sores on your appendage you wouldn't even obligation to wear gloves to treat her (i would intuitively recommend that you do though as you can never be to nurture full)

If you want to research the subject drop by www.nam.co.uk (national aids map) this will afford you the low down surrounded by great detail.
I hope this have thankful you.
Will be fine as can solely be passed through bodily fluids
I can`t bear to speak it, but i would surface uneasy.
She doesn't pose a risk.
No not at adjectives, she have be truthful and told you so apposite for her and accurate for you hope you enjoy her for various years to come.
not realy unless she be to hurt herself or something and bleed incentive i once know someone next to hiv and she cut herself and cleaned the blood near bleach and everything later she used these oral exam strips she have and it be still within.
No risk to the children. HIV is passed through sexual entertainment. blood transfusions or direct injection into the body as beside hypodermic sticks, etc. The virus does not live long outside the body. Do not compound this woman's problems by firing her.
I am not man funny but the children are your responsibility not hers. As long as you make conversation through protected practices beside her so you are both clear on minimising risk in that should not be problem.Your children should own to be informed around risk-free pracices too and this can be done WITHOUT them knowing your housekeeper is HIV positive. She have a right to confidentiality.
You wouldn't be asking this put somebody through the mill if you have doubts. I would get the impression enormously uneasy. She must enjoy be one swinging housekeeper. If she is one and only in attendance to verbs the house and jump home it might not be so doomed to failure. If she lives surrounded by , fixes meal and tend to the children that's a different story. Ask your PCP for clear-cut answers. Good luck.
I can promise you she poses no risk whatsoever to your children or anyone else within the household. Unless she is expected to inject them beside a syringe full of her blood.

Believe it or not, the HIV virus is in reality a unbelievably colourless virus, and dies in a few hours out of the body, so even touching dry blood or secretion would not pose a threat, plus you necessitate a generous amount past contamination would be feasible, which is why it is usually simply spread through sexual contact and injecting drug users sharing needles. Even if your housekeeper have an uncap wound, read out a nosebleed or something, and one of the children have something similar to a quality newspaper cut, near is singular a miniscule risk.

I am pleased that your housekeeper is getting the proper antiretroviral medication she requirements and have put on freight, though sorry to hear she have contracted this virus. I dream up you should be praised for mortal the caring of employer who is openly begin satisfactory and approachable for her to discuss this beside, she must be drastically upset and sense especially alone right very soon, its wonderful she have such a supportive ethnic group to be around. No doubt she herself have asked question nearly how much of a risk she is to your children, and have probably worried something like losing her mission. She must be a particularly brave female to be so forthcoming nearly it.

She poses no threat to you or your children. I shared a house for lots years next to my best friend and his wife. He be HIV positive from when we met and due to the reality that fund next, the drugs be smaller quantity developed and much smaller number widely available, he enventually died from AIDS. I hold remained HIV denial to this morning, as have his wife. After the third time a condom split on them they stopped using them, she individual faultless that she would own contracted the virus. However, she never get it, so it is harder to contract than you expect.

If you hold any question that you discern you cannot approach her in the region of, you could generate an appointment near your GP, or contact somewhere approaching the Terrence Higgins Trust or London Lighthouse.

I follow you wanting to reckon more or less your children, and I am sure your housekeeper does too, but she really poses no risk to any of you, and I am sure she is sensitive and sensible when it comes to hygiene anyway, or she would not be a great housekeeper. I thank you again, from one who have see so much ignorance and bullying on this subject, for human being so start, approachable and sensible. I hope your housekeeper continues to remain as very well as can be. God bless you adjectives.
if she is one blood sisters near them, consequently yes, but hiv can just be spread through fluids
There should be no significant risk. HIV is spread by exchange or contact beside body fluids. This should not concern surrounded by this baggage. However AIDS patients are more credible to contract a spectrum of unusual infectious disease, including TB. These could be spread in the middle-of-the-road opening.
