Canker sores are oral herpes. There are over the counter medication you can give somebody a lift for it, but they're just a treatment, not a cure. Cold sores can recur any time you're really stressed out, but they tend to vanish as you age.
Not sure what cause canker sores. I guzzle 1 or 2 yogurts and usually by the subsequent daylight or second year, they are gone. Not crazy in the order of saline myself. Hope that help.
