Strained muscle in a child and when to see the doctor?

My 12 yr matured daughter plays soccer, she is the goalie, yesterday she some how strained a muscle around her hip punting / sliding. The trainer said to rest and rime it for 48 hours, its be 24 its not getting any better and she is have trouble walking, should I transport her to the doctor or verbs near what the trainer said and ride it out?

Answers:
Soccer is a contact sport. Your daughter will find hurt from time to time if she's playing right. It's purely what happen. Rest, rime, and some ibuprofen. The trainer is right. Give it time. If you bring her to the doctor, they'll do x-rays to assure you everything is fine, and likelihood are they'll find zilch. Nothing can fix a pulled muscle bar time. After 24 hours, put a heat wad on the nouns instead of rime. Give her ibuprofen and enjoy her nick it effortless. If she doesnt want to play for a morning or two that's ok, but she shouldn't basically sit. Have her hike and create sure it stays stretched out. It'll grasp better next to time. And kind sure you, and her, both attain used to it. If she's gonna play, she's gonna attain hurt from time to time.
Also, most trainers know what they're conversation in the region of. They may not be "doctors" but they be surrounded by sports medication majors surrounded by college, completed classes, and have to become certified as an athletic trainer. Your daughter will be fine.
The trainer is not a DOCTOR. I would clutch the child to see an orthopedist right away. If she is have trouble walking it is critical to do it right away. She could enjoy ruptured her bursa or something else could enjoy be pulled or stretched. Don't lurk. Your daughter is surrounded by dull pain.
I agree next to the other answerer. Since your daughter isn't recovering, later you should shift see your relations doctor.
