Every time I breathe, the sharp discomfort within my chest get really sharp. I don't want to shift to the ER to be told it's nought - only heartburn or something. Has anyone have this for this long? I'm a hygienic 23 yo womanly. Thanks!

it sounds resembling pleuresy to me.specifically inflammation of tissue around the lung, usually not serious. If it hurts when you breath in deep- but not while resting.and you enjoy no shortness of breath or cough, no confusion, you should try taking an antiinflammatory such as ibuprophen or advil. Take it as directed for a time or two and see if that help. If not, stir to your doctor.
