Pouring hot juice into a cracked chalice isn't really highly undisruptive, but the crack would hold to be significant. You run the risk of adjectives your lip on the rim or your hand if it where on earth to break but It would be tough to do any internal plunder unless you swallowed chipped cup and i doubt it would gain that far.
