I'm right handed and I fractured my right wrist when I be about 8. Over the years since after I get a really annoying strain within that wrist. It's only when I use it relatively intensively eg. typing for hours or playing guitar, but it seems to come up adjectives the time and quite effortlessly. Is it possible that the strain is at all due to the fracture or is it more potential to be repetitive strain injury?
Answers: You may have developed post-traumatic arthritis, which can ensue, especially after injuries to the wrist and can cause the type of anguish you describe, further provoked by excess use. Often a simple wrist splint or brace, available from sports shops and chemists will help, as will a grill pad on the artificial wrist. You can also try non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen. Good luck.
Yes. My daughter broke her wrist when she was around 8 years outmoded and under closely of use, or poor weather conditions (changes in atmospheric pressure), it cause her tenderness, throbbing and frustration. She uses ibuprofen and says it help.
