How can I contentment the niggle of a blood clot surrounded by my arm?

I have an IV contained by my arm 6 days ago while within the emergency room. The IV be place above the bend surrounded by my elbow. Two days ago my arm begin to hurt awfully unsuccessfully and it started showing red blotches that be thaw to the touch. I go rear to the doctor and after an ultrasound yesterday it is confirmed I own a blood clot from the IV. I guess it's something that can surface to anyone and with the sole purpose time can variety the clot turn away. The anguish is so discouraging that I cannot straighten out my arm or even pull it above my skipper. I own never experienced affliction similar to this, it's tricky to describe. The red blotches are tricky bumps and I hold tried everything, massage my arm, hot tub, compresses, and warmness pad. Nothing is helping and it doesn't seem to be to be getting any better. I cannot clutch asprin because I hold surgery surrounded by two days but I can thieve Tylenol 3 which isn't helping. My doctors hold no suggestions except buy and sell beside it. I be wondering if anyone else have any suggestions? Any counsel is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you enjoy a history of blood clots and you are taking blood thinners, I wouldn't run any over the counter medication. It is too risky.

When I have blood clots within my leg from ankle to thigh, they suggested that using moist bake. I also made sure that I kept my leg elevated. I also used BioFreeze which is topical torment reliever.

Good Luck! I hope your surgery go powerfully.
If you own tried massage, hot tub, compresses and fry pad. Perhaps you can try a Chinese liniment call Efficascent Oil or some products from the Chinese drugstore approaching that. But customarily, after a few days, the anguish will only travel away if you verbs heat up compresses/heat pad. Wish you very well.
