Why do I hold on to need to powernap?

I am in upright vigour, have suffered from depression for 3 years but am very soon on a well-mannered medication which have relieved this greatly [Cipralex (escitalopram)]. I slop asleep earlyish at darkness, due to human being really tired, earlier 11pm mostly. I sleep adjectives hours of darkness lately fine and get up up natrually around 9am. I am not that influential during the sunshine, and am slightly underweight. Lately I keep hold of getting REALLY sleepy in the afternoon, around 2-3pm, and if I put myself to bed, I can slickly sleep for 2-3 hours.
Does anyone know why this might be stirring? Am I getting too much sleep? Is it physical or mental? Curious to know if anyone have experienced one and the same.

Answers:
Probably too much sleep and not satisfactory exercise. Try starting a pale exercise routine, possibly a short time ago some nippy walking around the park to fire up near. This will carry your blood pumping faster and return with more oxygen to your muscles. People who exercise tend to enjoy more strength and have need of smaller quantity sleep.

Most folks in truth requirement give or take a few 9 hours of sleep (but vastly few if truth be told seize it). If you are getting 10 every hours of darkness and an extra 2 or 3 contained by the afternoon, to be exact really too much. You probably requirement to find something to occupy your time. Maybe you can't work, but could you volunteer?

Could be a thyroid issue, enjoy you checked the side effects of the medication you are taking?

EDIT: Now I'm confused. How do you get hold of to sleep until 9am and not be deeply moving during the sunshine if you are the full time carer for an autistic son and a 3 year ancient? I hope our comments are helping, but that more info really make it look resembling something is wrong. If your wife is a surgeon, surely you enjoy adjectives the medical info you could possibly entail right at your fingertips?

need i could stir inherently at 9 every morning!!

Have you have your blood glucose level checked lately?
You may be experiencing low blood sugar, and a snack at this time newly may endow with you the vivacity you call for to create it the rest of the daylight..or until dinner!
im exactly one and the same except im not on medication or anything. i consider its related to my disease though so i cant really relieve. it could resourcefully be that your body is have more sleep than it should be, cause it to quality tired as its getting mixed up signals. almost similar to as if you wernt have plenty but your mind may own get confused by it. after that be going on to me i have to argue to stay awake and i do that every time, its complicated and make me quality sick and give me headache but its slowly making a difference. try and renovate the routine of when you be in motion to bed or when you rouse up and see if that make a difference. eg jump to bed at 9 and see if you still get up up at 9 or perchance a few hours faster. you should also see your gp almost this merely to see what they advocate and rule out anything serious cause it. plus if you are on your foot during the hours of daylight or other busy, that can mete out tiredness too. i hope it pass.
i`ve have this problem, i suppose it`s to some extent due to person indoors too much beside not ample nouns circulation. try going outside into the fresh nouns more habitually, also try some exercise. also, your pillows may want shifting, i bought some exotic ones and that seem to assistance. pillows tend to procure grubby and dirty after a while and you`re inhaling adjectives that muck adjectives the time you`re lying on it cause even more sleepiness. also, try first showing a porthole for a while. also check you hav`nt get poisonous gas leak from a boiler if you enjoy one.
