Alright, I am curious when you only inevitability a small amount of blood for a test, why is the finger tip the best place to attain it?
Can you prick the palm of a hand, top of the arm, or an ear inplace of a finger tip to acquire the same results?
Would it be crazy to request to draw it from their arm vs finger?
I know I'm a huge dork when it comes to this stuff, but for what ever plea needles on my fingers or toes freaks me out (I know it is a mental thing, perchance I'm a bit mental :)

Answers: Don't feel unnatural about this at adjectives. i know many that prefer to own blood drawn from the inner bend of the elbow rather than the finger. Some principle the tip of the finger is a sensitive area.
There is a foreign device the doctors use now to be precise quick and affliction less. trust me I can't stand a neele contained by my finger either and the bright device doesn't bother me nearly as much. I believe you can have it taken from somewhere else. They use the tip of the finger when they involve just a drop of blood and also the skin is tougher than other area's
