How soon can you donate platelets after giving unharmed blood?

I know you have to linger 3 days between platelet donations, and 56 days between whole blood donations.

However, I in recent times gave full blood for the first time. I've only ever given platelets. So I want to know how long do I enjoy to wait after a total blood donation to be able to administer platelets?

FYI - I did check the Red Cross's website FAQ's and called the hotline, but the hand gave me no relieve and the website had zilch.

Answers:    Ok Whole Blood contains Platelets, so if you cannot donate whole blood again for 56 days afterwards you are not going to be able to donate Platelets for 56 days. However you might be capable of donate Platelets and then 3 days after that donate whole blood. Best of Luck
