Leg hit, bruise and not easy bump?

I hit my leg on a futon earlier today, and it almost not hurt at all. This be around 6:00 pm... I just get out of the shower and noticed that it bruised extremely badly, and within is a huge, hard lump surrounded by the spot that i hit. I'm thinking it might be a calcium deposit, but I don't really know... anyone have any guesses? I'm a huge hypochondriac so anything to sustain would be great...

Answers:    It probably is a hematoma, but if it does not go away and it feel bony and rough, then it is probably myocitis ossificans. This is where on earth there have been so much blood surfeit that calcium begins to pool. Be sure to chafe the blood away from the area (yes it will hurt a moment or two, but it's important), and it should go away. I'd afford it a week. If it gets REALLY inflamed you entail to see a doctor before it get infected or damages a muscle.
It is an accumulation of blood call a hematoma. It will go away. Put rime on it for two days then steam. It will stay tender until the bruise is gone. Relax! You're OK!
