Numbing cream for industrial piercing?

i want to get an industrial piercing, my girlfriend really talk me into it.
but i was wondering if within is any kind of numbing cream out in attendance that would make a difference because i hear it is a throbbing piercing because it is through allot of cartilage.

Answers:    Yes it is painful. No in attendance isn't really any topical cream that will do much to help next to the pain, and a piercer will not pierce you near cream or goo all over the intended site. Take an ibuprofen in the region of 45 minutes before you receive the piercing done, it will help some. Do not thieve aspirin or anything that will thin the blood, they may produce excessive bleeding when you get pierced. This is not as big a concern on the ear as it is not notably vascularized, but still a good precaution.

On a completely different make a note of, a bit of advice from someone who's see this before: don't go and get a piercing just because someone else desires you to get it. It's your body that you're getting a that hole poked surrounded by, not her's.
no, no such thing.... sorry
