My cousin have an addiction to loratab and consent to me update you it be not pretty. Last May he run out of pills, his mother be out of pills, and his sister be out of pills (they're adjectives addicts), every little item set him rotten... his cell phone needed to be charged, he get angry and overthrow the crap out of his tentative motor near a baseball bat, the subsequent afternoon he needed hairspray and his sister have none, he go downtairs to the kitchen grab a gouge and be going to slaughter himself. When his sister tried to stop him he threw the spear across the room and get it stuck surrounded by his bedroom wall. My aunt call us and asked that we rush to the house because we be closer than she be from work and said she too be on her bearing. By the time we get here his sister have already call 911, and he have grab another larger pierce than previously. My dad go surrounded by to gossip to him (they're pretty close) while my mom and I took his sister downstairs. When the police get in attendance they explained to us that he be going to be taken to ECMC (our local truama center) and be going to enjoy to be below a 3 daytime psychiatric hold for evaluation. About this time his mom get in that, and asked to be in motion see him. They allowed her to, and consequently escorted the paramedics upstairs to him. They confiscated his shoes lace, his belt, his cigarette lighter, and took the knife to the police station. When he get to ECMC he and his mother both claimed that it wasn't withdrawl that cause him to snap, but that it be strain from a hindmost injury (that he doesn't have). The doctor's at ECMC believed the story and instead of holding him for psychiatric evaluation, they released him a FEW HOURS then beside a hot prescription for loratab.
Long story short, it's a show anticipate addiction, and a sturdy one to overcome.
