Do medication resembling anti-depressants, anti-anxiety, and sleep aids close to Trazadone stop working after so long?

Does my body develop a tolerance to these meds? I own be taking adjectives three for 10 years.

Answers:
Your body might build up a slight tolerance, but nonspecific speaking when it comes to anti-depressants.. you begin taking them to "stabilize" your chemicals, which is what it does. your doctors get u up to the right dosage and you stay on it if it works out ably. so no i do not believe you build a tolerance to anti-depressants.
Now anti-anxiety approaching Klonopin and Xanax (controlled substances) yes you can. I built up a tolerance over the years. They are made to hold you out of the "scuffle or flight" mood your body go into when you own an anxiety attack, comforting your nerves.. Instant and much stronger.

Sleep aids, not so sure around. Trazadone however you can develop a tolerance for since I be also on it a few years hindmost (and I did, but not major), but not for sleep.

Anything "calming" of your nerves you can develop a tolerance for, but the anti-depressants , nope.
Sometimes that happen and sometimes it doesn't. If you're attitude depressed or have trouble sleeping, I presume you should cooperate to your doctor to see if you necessitate to increase your dosages or try something different.

Good luck! :)
I would muse that if you've be taking them that long, you would own developed the tolerance since immediately. I took Trazadone for a few years and it never stopped working for me, but I wasn't on it for that long any. You probably should see your doctor nearly it; you might stipulation an increased dosage or to be switched to different medication.
If your medication don't seem to be to be working for you anymore, you can disuss the issue beside your doctor, and metamorphosis medication.

yes, this happen comparatively frequently. sometimes society own to switch or hold their doseages increased habitually, until they find what works very well for them.

we are adjectives individuals, and respectively of us have a different "body chemistry".
I hold Trazadone and I hold to up the dose at times after a while. Also, my daughter be on Prozac for a few years and it did stop working and the doctor have to vary the medication altogether. Yes, I hold found surrounded by my experience that it does occur.
They can stop working if you are on them a long time. I used to hold Mirtazapine but after a couple of years it stopped working so I have to alter to something else.
Sleeping pills do lose usefulness, which is why doctors do not similar to prescribing them over long period, because you wind up up have to rob more for them to work.
