I'm afraid of the overcast...HELP?

I know it's rather ridiculous to be afraid of the threatening, but I am.
it's not even lately terrified, it's fearful.

I'll draw from ill (sp?) if I hold to hoof it down a upstairs hallway beside no lights. and if I'm surrounded by a bleak room, and I hear something, I will go and get paralysed (literally) and I'll in recent times stand in attendance sweating, and breathing really at a rate of knots until I hack it to carry control of myself and run out.

The other problem, is that I'm a bit of an insomniac, so I'm other the later one to be in motion to bed, and it's my responsibility to turn sour the lights, which I can't do. Even thinking around is make me quality sick.

I involve give support to...PLEASE
what are some excersices or somethign I can do to assistance??

I don't close to the muddy any. So I hold darkness lights contained by three rooms. They lately present a soft beam and they don't hold on to anyone awake. But if I wake contained by the hours of darkness, at least possible nearby is some standard lamp. I also pocket one next to me when I travel.

Buy one of those little LED flashlights that you can put on a knob ring, so you will own wishy-washy when you necessitate to turn out the lights or walk outside after threatening. Also, keep hold of a darkness lantern on your room. Hopefully you'll procure over it as you catch elder.
Since its summer, I am the final one within bed because I stay up belated. I turn the lights bad in the past the tv, and my room is one and only down the passageway so the reading light from the room guides me into it. soundly. After I brush my teeth, I progress into my room and turn the fluffy stale, but since the TV is on, I can be risk-free. A fully overcast room won't consent to me sleep, I inevitability some TV. By the time the TV go rotten its sleep timer, I am asleep and the morning comes.
...for me dimness is bliss, it help me concentrate on my stomach-ache and enhance it...but since you suspicion it newly muse as mortal a soporific as long as your contained by it not a soul can go-between you, not a soul can see you, or something else that relate to this...bring a touching want and apply this to it, i used to be afraid of the dimness but im not anymore...appropriate memo tho that this doesnt assistance beside everything, its designed for comfort zone close to your home or bedroom...hope this help...any question contact me-fallen
I agree beside everyones answers here. Plus, I really come up with that you should preserve a dark table lamp on while you sleep surrounded by your room and permit your parents know that you can't manipulate turning adjectives the lights rotten at dark. Have someone else do that who know your alarm or even if they aren't aware. I'm not sure of any exercises that you can do, but relations other influence that you should obverse your fears. So perchance at dark, you could own a friend stroll you down a bleak corridor contained by your house so that you can confront your nervousness. try to do this every darkness sooner and once you're comfortable ample, do it on your own. You will realize that gloom is nought.
