Best food for the brain (memory, logic, speed, etc.)?

I'm 14 tomorrow and am aiming for straight A's. I didn't do so okay final year. But i basically don't want to capture the grades, i want to cram as much as i can. What breakfast is best for my brain? my mom say ginko herb (sp.?) didn't work for her. i hear breakfast is the most prominent teatime of the daytime... but what happen to lunch and dinner? perchance lunch will keep hold of my breakfast's effects working? or my dinner will engender me in position for the subsequent sunshine? please facilitate me out :)
