How do I access my anger?

I be chronically depressed (anger pointed inward I know) for 4.5 years, turns out I'm bi-polar. Since I disappeared my marriage ceremony 14 months ago, I hold be symptom free. The on-going divorce is extremely hostile (my ex is trying to save the kids from me) and have financially ruined us. My psychotherapist and friends speak about me i should be so angry, but I don't quality it. I intellectually know it should be at hand, so maybe I am only just disconnecting from it. How do I access it?
