I've never hear of that. My in one piece family connections from father to grandchildren suffer from ADD.May they are including other disorders.

Innattentive: focusing, concentration problems.
Hyperactive.: Poor imulse control and inability to sit still for long period of time. Tending to tell alot or really hasty commonly interrupting others and fitfully switching from topic to topic.
The DSM IV say within is 3 types of ADHD. The 1st type is Innattentive. The 2nd is Hyperactive-Impulsive. The 3rd is the combined type, Innattentive, Hyperactive-Impulsive.
I am the combined type.
