I found out yesterday that I have UTI. Gah! And I required to know if it was still ok for me to drink beer next to dinner or will the alcohol
weaken my immune system or something of that quality preventing me from healing properly. Than you within advance.
Answers: when you enjoy a UTI, you should drink a lot of fluids. Having a couple of beers isn't going to hurt you. Just don't over do it. And follow you alcohol intake near lots of water.
If you're on antibiotics for your UTI, after you should not drink anything--alcohol lowers the effectiveness of antibiotics. And yes, alcohol does suppress the immune system. So essentially...just don't drink until it's gone.
