My cousin is constipated and after 3 days of watching him he still cannot stir to the bathroom...DUCALAX?

should i bequeath him ducalax or will it administer him really fruitless diahrrea?he is 11 years old

Answers:
Give him a child's enema. Go to your drug store, and ask the pharmacist to suggest one for an 11-year old. Pharmacists are REALLY smart. He MIGHT recommend a suppository. They are non-hazardous, and will not grant him diarrhea. Talk to the pharmacist first. Does he grasp constipated normally? If so, he requests to drink more dampen and/or liquid, devour more fruits and veggies, and smaller number white sugar (doughnuts, twinkies, etc.) Good luck to BOTH of you!! :)
Have his parent or guardian run him to a doctor. Constipation for that long can be a sign of complaint.
Try a suppository.
Because of his age I would consult beside a Dr. he can impart you some suggestion on what to use for his age. Some of these over the counter medication are geared for adults.
I would def. nickname the doctor. But if you impart him a laxative put together sure you afford him a stool softener as economically..If you dont that will be a complete clean kindly of agony and he could develope hemmoroids.
