A cat scan of the chest will detail you if you hold a clot surrounded by your lung. They will inject dye in thru your artery that will put emphasis on the vessel surrounded by you lungs and lay emphasis on a clot if within is one nearby

I don't have a sneaking suspicion that so. I read aloud this because I have a Pulmonary Embolism three years ago, and when I go to hospital they (the doctors) give me a CT scan. Obviously if an x-ray could hold shown the clot, I would hold have that, as it is so much cheaper.

It might show up if the nouns of lung involved be immense adequate. However a VQ scan is the definitive theory test.
