I enjoy be coaching surrounded by a private college and alergic to chalk.
I simply remember I have see an American professor used a chalk holder. It be close to a power-driven pencil which you insert a chalk in the pencil and you push the botton on the other tip. The chalk will come past its sell-by date at your desire lenght.
I am looking for that brand of chalk holder near no luck. Does anyone own any model if any lecturers use this sort? Or is within anyone alergic to chalk and how she/he overcome this problem. It's itchy.

Many of my teacher used these. I haven't see a chalk holder contained by a long time because most classrooms hold white boards & erasable marker.
Get a white board and a float.
Do you do a scour on the internet for chalk holders. I suppose they must be in the region of somewhere. At a push you could other use some copper tubing - the gentle that plumbers use. You'd hold to saw it to the right length next insert the chalk into it. You'd own to push it up manually when it become worn down. Or, go and get some plastic tubing instead.
Get some moisturising cream for your itchy skin. 1% Hydrocortisone Ointment/Cream will comfort beside the initial irritation, after protect your skin beside the moisturiser.
you could wear gloves... college students should be grown-up adequate not to tempt... (he he)
I go to institution next to a girl who be allergic to some features of metal.. she have to wear gloves to devour near any cutlery, playing clarinet, cooking... I remember because I used to sit subsequent to her and she wore these white cloth gloves adjectives the time.
perchance you could wear the disposable sympathetic or invest in a cloth type... I know disposables come in funky colours now because I use them in the kitchen...

Until you can win the holder, try wearing a glove or rubber finger tips to protect your skin.
If using a chalk holder doesn't backing, you are very well in your rights to step to the human resources dept. of your college and explain the problem. They are required as an employer to build credible accomodations within cases resembling this. For example, they could install dry erase boards in the classrooms you use (a little expensive, but worth it - they're much nicer to use) or find some sort of portable board for you to fetch to your classrooms.
You don't hold to suffer because you are allergic to chalk. There are unquestionably alternatives. I'm sure your college will be more than at ease to abet you find a workable solution.
