MY BOYFRIEND IS TAKING HIS DAUGHTER'S MOTHER TO COURT TO GAIN SOME SORT OF CUSTODY OVER HER. WELL, TODAY WAS THEIR COURT DATE AND SHE DID NOT SHOW UP AT 10:30 WHEN SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO AND THEN HAD HER SISTER CALL AT 10:40 TO SAY THAT HER CHILDREN WERE SICK AND SHE COULDN'T COME. SHE DID THAT ON PURPOSE BECAUSE SHE HAD KNOWN ABOUT THIS COURT DATE FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS. AT FIRST MY BOYFRIEND'S MOTHER MADE THE MISTAKE BY SAYING THAT THE CHILD'S MOTHER DIDN'T LIVE AT THE ADDRESS THAT THE WARRENT WAS ISSUED TO AND THAT HER SISTER HAD BEEN THE ONE TO SIGN FOR IT. SO THE JUDGE SAID HE COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT HER NOT SHOWING UP BUT THEN THE GIRL'S SISTER CALLED. NOW THEY HAVE TO GO BACK TO COURT NEXT MONTH AND SHE HAS TO EXPLAIN HERSELF WHY SHE DIDN'T SHOW UP. THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME SHE HAS DONE SOMETHING LIKE THIS. SHE DIDN'T SHOW UP FOR MEDIATION A FEW WEEKS AGO AND MY BOYFRIEND HAS NOT SEEN HIS CHILD FOR 3 MONTHS. SHE IS BASICALLY KEEPING HER FROM HIM, JUST BECAUSE. WHAT HAPPENS NOW?

It benefits your boyfriend that she didn't show for the initial date or mediation - both points that should be brought to the Judge's attention to discredit her reliability.
I would strongly recommend he desire court counsel. You should know, too, that she cannot properly withhold his visitation merely because they are contained by a custody scuffle -in most states, that's ample to find her in contempt of court. Of course... similar to everything else, he wants witnesses or documentation proving his claims against her.

The conciliator is going to reschedule the court date...He wishes to draw from his attorney on the orb...His attorney should hold requested that he bring to own a weekend drop by near the kids!! Next time they travel to court...Even if she doesn't show up, own his attorney request a visitation near the kids. They can brand name her do that! He can own it that weekend if his attorney would ask for it!
