I am starting the second year of my period. And it have been coming every month and stable for more than a week maybe even two. I'm thirteen and I've be searching through question to see if something is wrong. I have found that I could hold an ovarian cyst. But, I never have or have any pain. My interval has other lasted unbelievably long, but in my first year, it would skip months and final long and now it basically doesn't skip months. I'm thinking of going to the doctor does anyone know of anything else it could be? or why it's like this?
Answers: Your period sound pretty run of the mill for someone so young. Still, you should own regular checkups at the gynecologist. If your periods don't capture regular by the time you are 16, then you can be concerned. I would not verbs at this point - mine were exactly close to you described (and still I often skip a month or two, and I'm 26!).
Hi! I reflect you are just fine and merely experiencing hormonal change that every young woman go through. Your period won't "settle down" probably for another year or so, perchance longer. If you are not experiencing pain or VERY substantial bleeding I wouldn't worry. However, if your fears keep on then a gynecological appointment absolutely couldn't hurt and your doctor would be able to report you on bimanual exam whether a cyst is present. An ultrasound of the ovaries would also be something your doctor could do to make sure. I do construe you shouldn't worry around it though.
