Hi, I'm 17 years old. I am on Tri-Cyclen birth control pills and hold been for over a year immediately to try and control 2 cysts that were growing surrounded by my ovary. For the past 3 months or so I own noticed that my period have gotten greatly lighter and shorter than what they used to be. (It seems I am bleeding nearly as much as I did on the fourth day of my infirm cycle as I am now on my first and second days.) Also, nearby is a clear kind of "slime" I hold noticed. I am sexually moving (if that's of any help). I was purely wondering if anyone had any theory of what is going on and why they seem to be getting lighter and shorter. I know this can begin with mortal on the pill but I was wondering why it hadn't happen earlier. I've hear of implantation bleeding, but I certainly don't give attention to I've been pregnant for the recent past 3 months or anything like that... but please if someone could minister to me out I would greatly appreciate it. It's not fun worrying!
Answers: I was on ortho tri-cyclen lo for 2 yrs eventually they do get hold of shorter and lighter. Its not something i'd stress out about ... Its a apposite thing =D Just craft sure you are being responible in the region of having sex...Protect yourself somehow, nothings a 100%
I imagine it's normal. I be on Ortho Tri-Cyclin Lo for 4 years and didn't see a major translate in my period, but 6 months into Seasonique (I only grasp my period every 3 months very soon, which is awesome!), and my second period be definitely lighter than it's ever be. I also get that clear goo you mentioned very soon, and I don't recall getting it formerly.
I can't explain why you're seeing changes after a year, but perchance it just took your body that long to catch used to the pill.
I have no model why but the same entity happened to me too.
