I went to the doctors later night for an ultra nouns, becasue i have some slight pains because previously i have my term. and becasue my periods are any where on earth from 29-45 days apart. My gyno sent me for an ultrasound, to check for cysts. (she is also trying to confirm whether or not i have PCOS). so i stir in and the nurse does an ultra nouns and she stated that my ovaries and uterus look great. when i was getting dressed, i asked her, if i have PCOS would be be able to see that. she said some times here will little "micro"cyst or something(sorry i forgot exactly what she said). but then she stated that i hold cysts. i dont get it. i am waiting for the doc to ring me( since i only have it done last night), but do some women own cysts and is some cysts normal?.. i dont take in why she would say everything looks fine, but next i have cysts?

Each menstrual cycle the ovaries actually produce around 30 'pre-eggs' call follicules. Throughout the length of the cycle they are exposed to the feminine hormones and begin to grow and develop into proper eggs. Just around the time of ovulation, within is a spike in progesterone level, and the very best follicule will respond to this and develop into a proper egg and be ovulated into the fallopian tubes. This will be discarded contained by your next time if it remains unfertilised.
As for the 29 other follicules that didnt make it into eggs. They lessening in size and form teeny cysts which basis no bother. This is what she was probably conversation about. Every woman have small cysts on her ovaries from all these follicules and they are nought to worry just about.
In PCOS, there are deviant hormone levels which scheme no eggs are ovulated and the follicules dont turn into little cysts, but bigger ones visible on ultrasound.
It is adjectives to have ovarian cysts. Sometimes they can grow and become a problem and are incredibly painful. I would lurk for your doctor to call a bit than take anything that a ultrasound tech tell you. They are only clued-up about their machines and administering the ultrasound test. They are not able to diagnose your condition.
