I can't be pregnant, but...?

I've missed three periods. I've never taken birth control, so that's not the problem. I'm single 16, and am still a virgin. While I may still be young, I get my first period when I be 11 and have other been regular. I told my mother give or take a few this and she told me to stop worrying about it, but I can't. I don't exercise especially often, and am not deeply thin any. And I get menstrual-like cramps, but no term. Should I see a doctor?

Answers:    Yes, post haste, a need of periods is something that could indicate any number of abnormality.
