Answers: I've never have one on my pelvis but I had one done on my heart once. They may not take home you take your underwear completely sour, but you'll have to at lowest pull them down a bit.
They'll squirt some goey blue-ish gel on the wrap up of the ultrasound remote thing [I know I'm using adjectives technical terms] and start moving it around on your pelvis. It doesn't hurt at adjectives but there is a bit of pressure basically so they can see deep plenty.
My heart ultrasound took like a partly hour just because they have to look at everything from all directions. I assume it'll be similar for a pelvic ultrasound. Then they'll endow with your some paper towels to wipe the goo past its sell-by date of you and then you'll move about along on your merry way. :)

umm are you meaning vaginal ultra nouns? if so they go within vaginally but if you mean a standard ultra nouns no you wont have you'll simply move them down then they put cold jelly on you and look around at hand
