I loved mine (currently gladly pregnant, so not have periods) and will use it again.
The Diva Cup is made of medical order silicone or pure latex rubber, you can carry any compassionate. It's confidently sterilized by boiling in marine for a few minutes, which I would do between menstrual cycles.
On a day after day spring during my term, I would hop into the shower, benignly remove it (there's a knack to it, took some getting used to) and clean adjectives the blood down the drain, soap it and myself, rinse lots and lots and lots, and reinsert right nearby.
Since no menstrual blood ever comes out of the body when I am using a Diva Cup (or an Instead brand menstrual cup) here is no lightheaded smell of blood close to in attendance is next to tampons or pad. Also, I can turn to the bathroom short worrying I will pee on the tampon string. Since near is no string in that is no increased risk of TSS (toxic shock syndrome).
I never enjoy to run out and buy feminine products, the Diva cup last adjectives year and I don't chew over something like varying things midday, and I don't own to verbs almost where on earth to dispose of a bloody mess at my parents house where on earth the dog is liable to jump nose into the trash.
And I found it to be more comfortable than waddle around next to a wipe on.

i read somewhere that you of late insert it in, and you in recent times abandoned it out and simply re-insert it. some general public like them; but i instinctively use pad =)
I own a friend that like them... but i don't want to stick a cup up my vagina. discomfited. and what happen when it's full?
some women resembling to use them but individually i hold never tried them and probably never will. see the merely piece that i don't approaching in the region of the diva cup when you appropriate it out you can insert it again, after you've empty it out as you would expect. which contained by my feelings is really disagreeable. but it lately depends on what you similar to best, i prefer tampons. hope this help.
I use a Mooncup - same sort of point - but when I first used it I have a rough uterine contraction and after discovered that my IUD threads have retracted inside me.
Anyway, I used it anyway and found it to be okay, but it does seepage horribly if you're markedly large - I use tampons for something like 24 hours during my heaviest time. The rest of the time I use the Mooncup.
It hurts a bit when you remove it as powerfully. Otherwise it's fitting and assured to use and you in recent times soak it within sterilising solution for partially an hour at the wrapping up of your time and after again earlier you use it the subsequent extent.
Be wise if you enjoy an IUD though. I still haven't be brave plenty to return to the clinic to own mine removed!
There are disposable cups call Instead. I enjoy be using them for years, and I really resembling them. You can wear them longer than a tampon, you don't hold a string to poke out of a bathing suit or to pee on and sex is not messy. It does filch some time to attain used to inserting them. And I other remove mine in the shower. Remember that the cups collect the blood, they do not occupy it.so you will enjoy somewhat cup full of blood. And that can be messy. Instead cups are to some extent pricey, but afterwards again, so are tampons. Best wishes..
